Who we are

Patients, providers, and advocates fighting for fair behavioral health access.

We bring together clinicians, patients, advocacy organizations, and policy leaders to demand a better, fairer behavioral health system in Connecticut.
We spotlight the barriers people face every day, from denied insurance coverage to ghost networks, and turn those stories into action.
By advocating for smarter laws, stronger enforcement, and transparency from insurers, we’re working to make equitable access a reality, not a slogan.
What is parity?

Parity is about equality. It means treating mental health and substance use care the same as physical health care. The reforms we advocate for—improving access, strengthening quality, and holding insurers accountable—are all steps toward achieving true parity.

Parity is the opposite of disparity. Where disparities create gaps in access, affordability, and outcomes, parity closes them, ensuring fairness in coverage and care.
